As far as I know we, and one psyops unit (met them at Danger in September '05), were the first to wear ACU's in theater. We were within just a week or two of each other. It was almost 5 months before we saw others, including active duty units, wearing ACU's in Iraq. We kept hearing, "Are you Marines?"
