I built this rifle with a .25 caliber Douglas air gauged barrel blank, 1909 Argentine Mauser large ring action, Ramline stock, IOR Valdada 6x42 scope, Butler Creek caps, ARD, Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex sling, Redfield base and rings, and Harris BRM-S Bipod. I chambered it in .257 Roberts Ackley Improved and cut the barrel length to 26 inches. I gave it a very quick and rough bluing (to protect the metal) until I get around to Parkerizing it.
