I fired these Hornady Custom .257 Roberts +P 117 BTSP's in my .257 Roberts Ackley Improved chambered rifle. The cases are 'blown out' to fit the new chamber. Then I can reload them for more accuracy, velocity, energy, etc. The .257 RAI approaches the .25-'06 as far as ballistic qualities but with less powder used and less barrel throat erosion.
